For me, accessible communication means communicating on equal terms in all situations. Communication that is diverse, inclusive and appreciative.

In my work, I am dedicated to writing texts that get to the heart of things and are understandable and accessible at the same time, and to organising accessible events that leave a lasting impression.  

More details about my qualifications and what I do:

  • Studied translation/interpreting in Italian, English and French at the University of Vienna and the University of Trieste. Completed doctoral studies at the University of Vienna. Studied German as a foreign language at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich and the Goethe Institute.
  • Certified speech-to-text interpreter, sworn and court-certified interpreter and translator
  • Lecturer at the Centre for Translation Studies at the University of Vienna and at the Institute for Theoretical and Applied Translation Studies at the University of Graz
  • Ongoing training and lecturing activities and publications on professional and translation theory aspects in the field of accessible communication
  • Member of the Vienna Interpreting Research Group
  • Member of the Scientific Committee of the 6th European Conference of Speech-to-Text Interpreters ECOS2022 Vienna and the 6th International Conference on Live Subtitling and Speech-To-Text Interpreting ICoLS
